WHY HAVE YOU CHOSEN THIS DISCIPLINE OF STUDY? -Aerospace Engineering

Briefly state in not more than 200 words, how your choice of study relates to your aspirations, career objectives and long term goals.

''Aerospace Engineering is the branch of engineering related to design, construction and science of aircraft and spacecraft. I have dream to become an aerospace engineer since when I was kid. I started to express my interest in aerospace when I first observed the technologies contain in the aircraft or spacecraft. Besides I am so amazed to watch things flying around by itself especially aeroplane and spacecraft. In the first place, my dream is to become a successful pilot. But it was washed away when I noticed the risks and the consequences that I will face if I made mistakes. Moreover, it can cause fatalities to the innocent people boarding my plane. So I had trauma about becoming a pilot. But that does not stop me from becoming an aerospace engineer one day as it is my second choice in my ambition list after pilot. One day after I have become an aerospace engineer, I plan to build a space port in this country Malaysia so that we will not fully rely on other country when it comes to taking off to the space. Besides, I dream to create a high technology aeroplane and spacecraft that will reach to the expected destination in very less time. These are my career objectives once I become an aerospace engineer. I hope that Malaysia can withstand all the obstacles and challenges from other countries in other to achieve long term success. ''
